16-Port USB Charging Sync Station
The Tripp Lite CS16USB is a wall-mountable cabinet that charges and syncs up to 16 tablets simultaneously. Each of the 16 USB ports delivers up to 2.4 amps for fast charging. The unit accepts 100-250 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz through a C14 inlet and ships fully assembled with a detachable 10 ft AC cord.
Schools, offices and device fleets
This station suits environments that need secure, simultaneous charging and wired syncing for 16 iPads or Android tablets in a locked steel cabinet. It is not for users who only need a simple multi-port charger without sync capability, nor for deployments requiring support for Android 4.4 devices, which are explicitly excluded.
2.4 A per port across 16 ports
The defining specification is the 2.4 A output on every one of the 16 USB ports, which determines whether the station can fast-charge the target tablets while syncing all 16 to a host computer. If a deployment needs more than 16 concurrent ports or a different per-port current, this model will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item
Will the 2.4 A per port limit throttle charging when all 16 bays are full?
Each of the 16 USB ports is rated at 2.4 A, so every connected tablet can draw its maximum current at the same time.
How much heat and noise does the steel cabinet produce during continuous all-day operation?
The enclosure uses flow-through ventilation with no internal fan, so it runs silently and stays cool under sustained 16-device loads.
Do I need to supply my own host computer and USB cables to use the sync function?
Yes, a host computer with an available USB port is required for syncing, and you must provide the individual USB cables for each device.
