21-Port AC Charging Cart for Education

The Tripp Lite CSC21AC is a mobile charging station that charges, secures and organises up to 21 Chromebooks or laptops with screens up to 15 in. It is built for classrooms, healthcare, retail, warehouse and office environments where multiple devices need daily power and safe storage. The steel enclosure locks with included keys to discourage theft and tampering.

Integrates with Device Fleets and Network Gear

Twenty-one internal NEMA 5-15R outlets accept the AC adapters that already ship with each device, so no proprietary cables are required. A 10-ft cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug reaches standard 120V AC outlets at 60 Hz. An in-cabinet RJ45 jack lets you connect Ethernet peripherals such as routers or hotspots, while swivel casters and a laminated wood-grain top add mobility and a usable work surface.

Replaces Ad-Hoc Power Strips and Unsecured Shelves

The cart consolidates scattered chargers into one lockable cabinet with a built-in circuit breaker for overload protection, removing cable clutter and reducing tripping hazards. It is not suited for devices with screens larger than 15 in. or for deployments needing more than 21 simultaneous charging ports. Buyers who need higher capacity or USB-C charging should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How many devices can the 21 NEMA 5-15R outlets charge at the same time?

The cart provides 21 internal NEMA 5-15R outlets, allowing up to 21 Chromebooks or laptops with screens up to 15 inches to charge simultaneously from a single 120V AC supply.

Does the steel enclosure or the 10-foot input cord create noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day charging?

The unit uses passive ventilation and a built-in circuit breaker rather than active cooling fans, so it runs silently; the steel cabinet and 10-foot NEMA 5-15P cord remain at safe temperatures during continuous 120V, 60 Hz operation.

What must already be on site for the cart to charge 21 laptops immediately after unboxing?

You need a standard 120V AC wall receptacle (NEMA 5-15R) within reach of the 10-foot input cord, plus the 21 device-specific AC adapters that plug into the cart's internal NEMA 5-15R outlets.
