Line-interactive UPS delivers 1440 VA and 900 W through 10 NEMA 5-15R outlets with USB monitoring and ENERGY STAR certification
The Tripp Lite ECO1500LCD is a line-interactive UPS rated at 1440 VA and 900 W. It provides battery backup and automatic voltage regulation for desktop computers, networking gear and home-theatre components. Ten NEMA 5-15R outlets connect protected equipment while a USB port enables management software communication. ENERGY STAR qualification confirms efficient operation.
This unit supersedes simple surge strips that offer no runtime during blackouts. The jump is worthwhile when a power loss would corrupt open files, interrupt a NAS write cycle or crash a router serving smart-home devices. At half load the internal VRLA batteries deliver 12 minutes of runtime; at full load they provide 3 minutes. Hot-swappable RBC51 modules allow user replacement without downtime.
Builders protecting a PC, monitor, router and NAS will use most of the ten outlets and benefit from the 900 W capacity. Households running high-draw appliances such as laser printers, space heaters or large amplifiers should look elsewhere because the 900 W limit and 3-minute full-load runtime cannot sustain those loads.

The unit measures 11.00 inches deep, 3.90 inches wide and 16.14 inches high, so verify your shelf has at least that footprint and clearance.
Plug the USB cable into the UPS and your PC, then install the power-management software before a power event occurs; the port enables automatic file saving and shutdown.
It uses two user-replaceable RBC51 cartridges; when the replace-battery alarm sounds, swap both modules without powering down the connected equipment.
