Tripp Lite

Tripp Lite N002-014-BK 14ft Cat5e 350MHz RJ45 M/M Black

SKU CH-HW8A-XBKGB

A 14 ft Cat5e patch cable with two RJ45 connectors rated for 350 MHz communication

  • 14 ft length reaches distant network ports
  • Cat5e 350 MHz rating supports 1 Gbps communication
  • Molded RJ45 male connectors with integral strain relief
  • 4-pair stranded UTP PVC construction for flexibility
  • Snagless design protects connector tabs during installation

Cable overview

This 14 ft Cat5e patch cable carries a 350 MHz rating for 1 Gbps Ethernet links. Two RJ45 male connectors are factory moulded onto stranded UTP pairs. The PVC jacket is black and the construction suits standard Cat5 and Cat5e installations.

Connector build

Each plug includes integral strain relief to protect the termination during repeated insertion. The moulded boot keeps the latch from catching on adjacent ports when routing through panels or patch panels. Stranded conductors maintain flexibility for desk or rack runs.

Compatibility check

Verify that the 14 ft length reaches between your switch and device without excess slack. Confirm both ends accept standard RJ45 plugs and that your network gear negotiates at up to 1 Gbps over Cat5e. Buyers who need shielded cable or higher category ratings should choose a different product.

Questions about this item

What speed does the Cat5e 350MHz rating actually support?

The cable is rated for 350MHz bandwidth and 1Gbps communication, so it caps at Gigabit Ethernet speeds in practice.

What physical space do the moulded RJ45 connectors need to fit?

Each end has a standard RJ45 moulded male plug with integral strain relief; allow room for the boot and latch clearance behind the jack.

How do I install this patch cable without damaging the snagless tabs?

Align the RJ45 plug, push straight in until the latch clicks, and pull the boot — not the cable — when removing to avoid bending the tab.
