Ready for Cat5 and Cat5e runs

This 25-ft white patch cable carries Cat5e-rated performance for home and small-office networks. Moulded RJ45 male connectors on both ends plug straight into routers, switches and wall plates without tools. The stranded four-pair UTP construction keeps the cable flexible for routing around corners and through cable management channels.

Moulded boots with integral strain relief

The connectors are over-moulded with built-in strain relief so the latch and wires survive repeated inserts and tight bends behind desks. PVC jacket material resists everyday abrasion while the white colour makes the run easy to trace in crowded racks or underfloor trays. Rated to 350 MHz, the link supports 1 Gbps Ethernet under the IEEE 802.3ab standard.

Replaces worn or shorter Cat5 patch leads

Use this cable when an existing lead has damaged tabs, intermittent contact or simply does not reach the new equipment position. The 25-ft length covers typical desk-to-wall or patch-panel-to-switch spans without excess slack. It is not suited for runs that require Cat6 or higher bandwidth, PoE+ power budgets beyond the base standard, or outdoor and plenum-rated installations.
