Tripp Lite 2 ft Cat6 Booted Patch Cable

The Tripp Lite N201-002-BL50BP is a 2 ft Category 6 patch cable with RJ-45 male connectors on both ends. Blue booted connectors protect the locking tabs during repeated insertion and removal. It is RoHS compliant and designed for network device connections.

Suited for short Gigabit links in racks or on desks

This cable suits installers who need a short, booted Cat6 run between a switch, router, or patch panel and a network device. Builders requiring longer reach, crossover wiring, or unbooted connectors should look at other options.

The 2 ft length decides fit in tight cable

At exactly 2 ft the cable reaches only adjacent ports in a rack or a device sitting right next to the switch. Measure the actual path before ordering; any longer run will need a different cable length.

Questions about this item

Does the 2 ft length limit placement between rack-mounted network devices?

At 2 ft the cable only reaches directly adjacent ports, so devices must sit side by side or in the same rack shelf.

Will the booted RJ-45 connectors add heat or noise during continuous operation?

The cable is passive with no active components, so it generates no heat and makes no noise regardless of run time.

What network ports must my equipment already have to use this Cat6 patch cable?

Both ends use RJ-45 male connectors, so each device needs a standard RJ-45 female Ethernet port.
