Cat6 Gigabit snagless patch cable with RJ45 connectors for 3 ft network runs
This Cat6 snagless patch cable carries Gigabit Ethernet over a three-foot run. RJ45 male connectors on each end are moulded for strain relief. The black jacket suits rack, desk or wall-plate installations.
The cable meets Category 6 performance for 1 Gbps networks and is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 equipment. Builders who require longer runs, plenum-rated jackets or outdoor-rated sheathing should select a different cable.
At exactly three feet the cable reaches between adjacent patch-panel ports or from a wall jack to a desktop switch without excess slack. Measure the exact path before ordering; any other distance needs a different length.
Measured against everything we stock in Ethernet & LAN Cables, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Plug each RJ45 male connector firmly into the port until the latch clicks; the step often missed is verifying the click, which confirms the snagless latch is fully seated.
Inspect the snagless boots and RJ45 contacts periodically; replace the cable if the latch tab breaks, the boot tears, or the conductors show corrosion.
The snagless latch tab fatigues first; repeated unplugging can snap it, causing intermittent contact before the copper conductors degrade.
