Tripp Lite N201-005-GN network ethernet cable Cat6 5 ft green

What this cable is and who needs it

This Tripp Lite Cat6 patch cable provides a 5 ft green connection for gigabit Ethernet networks. It uses RJ45 male connectors on each end and meets category 6 cabling standards. The snagless molded boots protect the locking tabs during installation and removal. It suits anyone wiring a home office, a small business rack or a temporary test bench.

Check your setup before ordering

Verify that the 5 ft length reaches between your switch, router or wall jack and the device you are connecting. Confirm both endpoints accept standard RJ45 plugs and that your infrastructure is rated for at least Cat5e performance. The green jacket helps colour-code runs, so ensure it matches your existing labelling scheme.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This cable suits installers who need a short, standards-compliant Cat6 link with snagless protection and a distinct green jacket. Buyers who need longer runs, different colours for complex zoning, or cables rated for in-wall or outdoor use should look at other options.
