What this cable does

The Tripp Lite N201-015-BL is a 15 ft Cat 6 patch cable built for wired network connections. It links routers, switches, computers and other RJ-45 devices at gigabit speeds. The blue jacket makes it easy to identify in a busy rack or behind a desk.

Build and daily handling

Moulded strain relief protects the RJ-45 plugs from bending stress during repeated insertion. Snagless boots stop the locking tabs from catching on adjacent cables when you pull the run through trunking or cable trays. The 15 ft length reaches across a typical room without excess slack.

Signal quality in use

Cat 6 construction supports gigabit Ethernet with headroom for crosstalk and attenuation over the full 15 ft. The shielded twisted pairs keep interference low in normal office or home environments. Power-over-Ethernet equipment draws current through the same conductors without extra heating.
