Tripp Lite 25 ft Cat 6 Ethernet Cable

This 25-foot Category 6 patch cord connects two RJ45 network ports. It uses unshielded twisted-pair copper with a snagless molded boot and meets the TIA/EIA-568-B-2.1 draft 9 standard. The white jacket makes it easy to identify in a crowded rack or wall run.

Suits installers needing a verified Cat 6 link

Builders who require shielded cable, outdoor-rated jacket or plenum fire rating should choose a different product. It does not support Power over Ethernet injectors that need a grounded shield. Buyers needing runs longer than the supplied length must join cables or select a longer single cord.

Cat 6 rating with 550 MHz verified bandwidth

The cable is tested to 550 MHz and carries the UL verified mark for Cat 6 performance. This specification determines whether the link will support gigabit speeds in your installation. No other specification in the data sheet overrides this rating.

Questions about this item

Should I choose a different length or colour for my run?

This cable is a fixed 25 ft white Cat 6 patch cord; other lengths or colours are separate items.

What does the 550 MHz rating mean for everyday use?

It guarantees stable gigabit Ethernet performance with headroom for voice and video traffic over the full 25 ft.

Does the TIA/EIA-568-B-2.1 draft 9 standard limit the cable in any way?

The standard certifies the cable for Cat 6 channels, so it supports full gigabit speeds without additional bottlenecks.
