10 Gbps capacity and 500 MHz headroom

The cable is rated for 10 Gbps data, voice and video transmission at frequencies up to 500 MHz. This bandwidth comfortably handles 10GBase-T equipment including switches, routers, hubs, modems, adapters and patch panels. Performance drops off beyond the 15 ft length or when the connected hardware does not support the 10 Gbps standard.

Cat6a shielded interface limits

The STP construction with foil shielding dispels EMI and RFI line noise that can corrupt data or degrade equipment performance. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the locking tabs during repeated insertions. The cable supports Power over Ethernet so compatible devices draw power through the same run. It does not serve applications that require fibre optics or longer unrepeatered runs.
