Cat8 40G Ethernet Cable

This Cat8 patch cable delivers 40 Gbps bandwidth with shielded SSTP construction. It terminates in snagless RJ45 connectors and supports Power over Ethernet. The 7 ft length suits rack-to-rack or desk-to-switch runs.

Shielded PoE Runs

The shielding and PoE support make it suitable for installers who need interference resistance and inline power for access points or cameras. Buyers who require longer distances or non-shielded UTP cables should look at other options.

40 Gbps Bandwidth

The headline specification is the 40 Gbps data rate enabled by the Cat8 rating. That throughput decides whether the cable matches the network equipment you are connecting.

What comes in the package and what must I source separately?

The box contains the 7 ft Cat8 SSTP cable with RJ45 male connectors on both ends; no additional adapters or tools are included.

Which length should I select for a 2.1 m run between rack-mounted switches?

Choose the 7 ft version; it matches the 2.1 m distance and provides the required 40G Cat8 performance with snagless RJ45 plugs.
