Six-foot VGA extension cable with gold-plated HD15 connectors and double shielding for reliable video signal extension
The Tripp Lite P510-006 adds six feet of reach between a graphics output and a monitor or projector that uses an HD15 interface. It suits offices, classrooms or industrial setups where the existing cable falls short and the equipment still relies on analogue VGA signalling.
The cable carries an HD15 male plug on one end and an HD15 female socket on the other, so it connects directly to the host port and the display cable without adapters. Double shielding with foil and braid blocks EMI and RFI, while gold-plated contacts preserve conductivity. Moulded connector bodies and integral strain relief protect the terminations from repeated plugging and cable tension.
Mini-coax construction for the RGB lines and paired video wires maintains signal integrity across the six-foot run, preventing the ghosting or colour drift that thinner cables introduce. The shielding and gold-plated copper contacts keep performance stable during continuous use, making the link reliable for long presentations, digital-signage loops or monitoring stations that stay powered on for hours.

The double shielding (foil and braid) is designed to provide maximum EMI/RFI protection across the full 6 ft run.
The cable is passive with no active electronics, so it generates no heat and draws no power of its own.
Both devices need a high-density DB15 (HD15) port — the male end plugs into the source and the female end accepts the monitor cable.
