10-metre 8K HDMI fibre cable

The Tripp Lite P568F-10M-8K6 is a plenum-rated active optical cable that carries 8K UHD video at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma and 7.1-channel audio. Fibre construction allows the 32.81 ft run without the signal loss seen in copper at this length. It suits gaming, home-theatre and digital-signage installs that need long-distance 8K performance.

Check HDMI port version and plenum requirements

Verify that both source and display have HDMI ports capable of 8K @ 60 Hz bandwidth before ordering. The cable is male-to-male, so no adapters are needed for standard HDMI sockets. Because it is plenum rated, it may be routed through air-handling spaces such as drop ceilings and ducts where local codes require CMP-rated cable.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

Fibre strands transmit data with light, so the cable produces no electromagnetic interference and adds no audible noise to the installation. Active optical converters at each end draw minimal power from the HDMI ports themselves; no external supply is required. The assembly runs cool during continuous 8K @ 60 Hz operation.
