65 ft 8K HDMI AOC

The Tripp Lite P568F-20M-8K6 is a plenum-rated fiber active optical cable built for permanent installation in air ducts or drop ceilings. It connects source and display with male-to-male HDMI terminals over distances copper cannot reach. Installers and integrators use it for digital signage, home theater and gaming runs that demand 8K readiness.

8K 60 Hz 4:4:4 headroom

Fiber strands carry uncompressed 8K UHD at 60 Hz with full 4:4:4 chroma and 7.1-channel surround sound. Dynamic HDR metadata passes through for contrast and colour accuracy. The active optical design eliminates the length limit that stops standard copper at a fraction of this run.

Zero EMI noise and low power draw

Optical transmission removes electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference that degrades signal on long copper links. No external power supply is needed; the cable draws operating power from the HDMI ports themselves. Plenum rating ensures compliance for in-ceiling routing without adding heat or noise to the space.

Questions about this item

Will this 65 ft cable handshake with an older 4K display and AV receiver that only have HDMI 2.0 ports?

Yes, the cable is backward compatible; it will negotiate the highest resolution both ends support, so a 4K 60 Hz source and display will work normally.

How can I confirm the link is running at 8K 60 Hz 4:4:4 with HDR after I connect it?

Open the source device's output settings and the display's on-screen information menu; both should show 8K at 60 Hz, 4:4:4 colour sampling and HDR active.

Does the box include mounting hardware or a power adapter for the active optical connectors?

The package contains only the 65 ft plenum-rated HDMI male-to-male cable; no separate power supply or mounting accessories are included.
