Heavy-duty power extension cord

This 30 A, 10 AWG extension cord connects equipment with NEMA L6-30P plugs to matching L6-30R outlets. The 8 ft length gives extra reach in racks, server rooms or workshop benches. A moulded construction resists wear from repeated insertion and heavy daily use.

Capacity and headroom

Rated at 30 A, the cable handles high-draw devices such as PDUs, UPS units or industrial tools without overheating. The 10 AWG conductors keep voltage drop low over the full 8 ft run. It is not suited for circuits requiring more than 30 A or for outdoor installations lacking proper enclosure.

Safety certifications included

UL and RoHS approvals confirm the cord meets recognised electrical-safety and substance-restriction standards. These markings let facility managers document compliance during audits. No software, adapters or mounting hardware are bundled with the cord.

Questions about this item

Will the 10AWG cord safely extend the reach of my existing L6-30 PDU without voltage drop?

The 10 AWG conductors are rated for 30 A and the 8 ft length keeps voltage drop within acceptable limits for standard L6-30 loads.

How can I verify the cord is seated correctly after plugging it in?

The twist-lock NEMA L6-30P and L6-30R connectors click and lock into place; a firm tug should not dislodge them.

Does the package include any mounting hardware or cable ties?

The box contains only the molded 8 ft extension cord with NEMA L6-30P plug and L6-30R receptacle; no mounting hardware or ties are included.
