Line-interactive UPS delivers 3000 VA / 2250 W with AVR, nine outlets, USB, serial and SNMP slot in a 2U rackmount chassis
The Tripp Lite SmartPro SM3000RM2UNTAA is a line-interactive UPS rated at 3000VA and 2250W for 120V environments. It provides battery backup and automatic voltage regulation for critical server, network and telecommunications equipment in a 2U rackmount form factor.
The unit delivers 98% efficiency in line mode to reduce heat emissions and operating costs. Runtime is 3.5 minutes at the full 2250W load and 10 minutes at half load of 1125W, while recharge from 10% to 90% completes in under 4.5 hours.
A pre-installed WEBCARDLX card adds a Java-free HTML5 interface for full remote access and monitoring. USB HID, DB9 serial and the SNMP slot work with PowerAlert software to enable automated shutdown, alerts and detailed UPS configuration.
Measured against everything we stock in Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Mount the 2U chassis in a standard rack, then connect the NEMA L5-30P input to a 30 A 120 V circuit; the step often missed is verifying the branch circuit is rated for 30 A before plugging in.
The RBC94-2U cartridge is the direct replacement; swap it hot without powering down the load.
Output is capped at 1600 watts maximum once external battery packs are connected, regardless of the 2250 W internal rating.
