3000VA 2250W Rackmount UPS

The Tripp Lite SmartPro SM3000RMXLNTAA delivers 3000VA and 2250W of battery backup power in a 2U rackmount chassis. It suits server rooms, network closets and critical workstations that require uninterrupted 120V supply during outages. Nine outlets provide flexible distribution for mixed loads. TAA compliance and ENERGY STAR qualification meet government and efficiency procurement requirements.

Runtime Capacity and Headroom

At full 2250W load the internal battery sustains connected equipment for 3.5 minutes, extending to 10 minutes at half load of 1125W. Automatic voltage regulation corrects brownouts and overvoltages without draining the battery, preserving runtime for genuine power failures. Optional external battery packs can be added when longer autonomy is needed, allowing the unit to scale with growing infrastructure demands.

Bundled Management and Connectivity

PowerAlert software enables local and remote monitoring, scheduled shutdowns and event logging through USB, DB9 serial or an optional SNMP/Web card. An emergency power-off port supports safety compliance in regulated environments. Audible alarms signal startup, power failure, low battery, overload and fault conditions, giving operators immediate awareness without requiring constant software attention.

Questions about this item

Will my existing NEMA L5-30P power cord plug straight into the UPS input?

Yes, the unit uses a NEMA L5-30P input connection rated for 120V AC, so your existing cord will mate directly without an adapter.

How can I confirm the UPS is communicating with my server after connecting the USB cable?

The USB port is HID-enabled; once connected, your operating system should recognise it as a native battery device and PowerAlert software will show real-time status without extra drivers.

Does the box include the RBC58-2U replacement battery cartridge and an SNMP card, or must I order them separately?

The UPS ships with the internal battery installed; the RBC58-2U cartridge and any SNMP/Web interface card are optional accessories purchased separately.
