Wall-Mount 12U Server Rack

The Tripp Lite SRN4G12US is a steel wall-mount enclosure that provides 12U of rack space for equipment up to 28 inches deep. Its NEMA 4 rating seals the cabinet against water, ice, snow and other moisture. A hinged design swings the enclosure away from the wall for rear access. The unit supports a 200 lb weight capacity.

Industrial Environments Needing Sealed Protection

This rack suits installers who must mount network or server gear on a wall in wet, dusty or outdoor locations where a NEMA 4 seal is required. It is not for buyers who need a floor-standing cabinet with more than 12U of vertical space. It is also not for sites that cannot accommodate a 28-inch depth protrusion from the wall.

NEMA 4 Rating and 28-Inch Depth

The NEMA 4 enclosure rating is the specification that decides suitability, confirming protection against water ingress and ice formation. The 28-inch maximum equipment depth determines which servers or switches will fit inside. Verify both values against your site requirements before purchase.

Questions about this item

What ships with the SRN4G12US and what must I buy separately?

The enclosure includes the hinged wall-mount frame, a locking front door with keys and mounting hardware for the 12U interior; you supply the wall fixings appropriate to your structure and any shelves, cable managers or power strips you need.

The spec sheet lists only a single 12U 28-inch-deep version — how do I know it fits my gear?

The cabinet accepts equipment up to 28 inches deep and 12 rack units high with a 200 lb total load rating; measure your deepest device and count its U height to confirm it stays within those limits.

What does the NEMA 4 rating mean once the rack is mounted on my wall?

NEMA 4 means the sealed steel housing protects the installed equipment from water, ice, snow and other moisture ingress when the door is locked, making it suitable for wash-down or outdoor environments.
