12U Server-Depth Wall-Mount Rack

The Tripp Lite SRW12US33G is a 12U wall-mount cabinet designed to secure 19-inch rack equipment up to 32.5 inches deep. It supports a maximum load capacity of 250 pounds and features a shatter-resistant acrylic front window for monitoring equipment without unlocking the door. Heavy-duty steel construction with a black powder-coated finish provides durability and security for server rooms or network closets.

Verify Wall Structure and Clearance

Before ordering, confirm the mounting surface can support the unit weight of 94.50 pounds plus the intended equipment load. Ensure the installation area accommodates the cabinet dimensions of 25 inches high, 23.6 inches wide, and 33.5 inches deep. The hinge swing mechanism requires sufficient lateral clearance to rotate the cabinet away from the wall for rear access during maintenance.

Replaces Floor-Standing Racks in Tight Spaces

This cabinet upgrades from open wall shelves or floor-standing racks when floor space is unavailable and equipment depth exceeds standard wall-mount limits. The 33.5-inch depth and 32.5-inch usable depth accommodate deeper servers and network gear that shallower enclosures cannot house. The jump is worth it when you need secure, ventilated, lockable storage for heavy equipment in a compact footprint.

Questions about this item

What hardware and documentation are included, and is any mounting kit sold separately?

The package contains the 12U wall-mount cabinet, 36 M6 screws, 36 M6 cage nuts, 36 M6 washers, 36 12-24 screws, two keys and the owner's manual.

Which depth rating should I match to my equipment — the overall 33.5-inch depth or the 32.5-inch usable depth?

Choose based on the 32.5-inch maximum equipment depth; the extra inch accounts for the cabinet structure and door clearance.

What does the 250-pound load rating mean once the rack is mounted on a wall?

It is the maximum combined weight of all installed equipment the cabinet can safely support when properly secured to the wall.
