9U Wall-Mount Server Rack

The Tripp Lite SRW9UG is a 9U wall-mount rack enclosure designed to house standard 19-inch network and server equipment. It features a black finish with a plexiglass front door for visibility and a 17.7-inch depth suited for switches and shallow hardware. The unit measures 19.8 inches high by 23.6 inches wide.

Suits shallow gear, not deep servers

This cabinet suits installers mounting patch panels, switches or short-depth servers where floor space is unavailable. The plexiglass door allows quick visual checks without opening the rack. Buyers needing space for full-depth servers or high-density blade chassis should look at deeper floor-standing enclosures instead.

17.7-inch depth decides fit

The 17.7-inch overall depth is the single specification that determines whether your equipment will fit. Measure your longest device including cables and rails; if it exceeds this clearance, the rack will not close properly and you must choose a deeper model.

Questions about this item

Will the 17.7-inch depth of this 9U cabinet leave enough room for my existing patch panel and cable management?

The cabinet depth is 17.7 inches, so measure your patch panel and cable managers to confirm they fit within that space.

How can I confirm the plexiglass front door is secured properly after mounting the unit?

Lock the front door with the two included keys and verify the latch engages fully; the door should sit flush against the frame.

Does the package include enough M6 cage nuts and screws for a full 9U load, or must I buy more?

The box contains 18 M6 cage nuts, 18 M6 screws, 18 M6 cup washers and 18 12-24 screws for equipment mounting.
