3U rack-mount fan panel for 208-240 V environments

The Tripp Lite SRXFAN3U is a 3U panel-mount accessory that holds three high-performance fans rated for 208-240 V AC at 50/60 Hz. It delivers 315 CFM of airflow to improve ventilation inside compatible server racks and enclosures. The unit connects via a C14 inlet and meets RoHS and EIA/ECA-310-E compliance. It is built for data-centre and network-room installations that require additional cooling capacity.

Fits standard 3U rack space and C14 power

The panel occupies a single 3U slot in any EIA-310 compliant rack or cabinet, leaving the remaining rack units free for servers, switches or storage. A single C14 inlet powers all three fans, so only one PDU or UPS outlet is consumed. No additional controllers or sensors are included, so the fans run continuously whenever mains power is present. Builds that need variable-speed control or redundant power feeds will need separate management hardware.

315 CFM at 45 dB maximum noise

The three fans move up to 315 CFM while producing no more than 45 dB of sound under normal operation. Power draw is limited to the 208-240 V AC supply range, with no separate low-voltage rail required. The passive cooling design has no active temperature curves; airflow remains constant as long as the panel is energised. Installations with strict noise floors or temperature-triggered fan curves should verify suitability before deployment.

Questions about this item

At what airflow level does the panel stop adding effective cooling under continuous load?

The panel delivers a fixed 315 CFM airflow rating; beyond that volume the fans cannot move more air through the rack.

How loud and how hot does the unit get when running 24/7?

Sound level is rated at or below 45 dB; the fans are passive-cooled with no heater element, so exhaust temperature follows the intake air temperature.

What rack standard and power connection must already be in place for this panel to install and run?

It fits an EIA/ECA-310-E compliant rack and requires a C14 inlet fed from a 208–240 V AC 50/60 Hz source.
