Finished-bore steel sprocket with keyway and set screws for 50 chain, 18 teeth and 1 7/16 in bore
The Tritan 50BS18H is a steel sprocket with an 18-tooth profile cut for 5/8-inch pitch chain. Its fixed bore measures 1 7/16 inches and comes machined with a 3/8-inch wide keyway and two set screws for positive shaft locking.
Black-oxide finish on the steel body resists surface corrosion during extended operation in exposed power-transmission setups. The one-sided hub projects .657 inches and carries a 2 7/8-inch diameter, keeping the rotating mass compact while the keyway depth of 3/16 inch maintains full key engagement under steady torque.
This sprocket accepts only single-strand 50-series chain; multi-strand or smaller-pitch chain will not seat on the 3.599-inch pitch diameter. The 3.92-inch outside diameter sets the minimum guard clearance, and the 1-inch length through bore limits the usable shaft extension to that dimension.

The steel sprocket has no moving parts of its own, so it produces no measurable heat or noise; any temperature rise or sound comes from the chain and bearings it engages with.
The sprocket requires a 1 7/16 in shaft with a 3/8 in wide by 3/16 in deep keyway to match its finished bore and included set screws.
It matches #50 chain at 5/8 in pitch, but mixing a new 18-tooth sprocket with worn teeth can accelerate chain wear and cause uneven loading.
