True Color Toner 046X Three-Pack

This three-pack supplies cyan, magenta and yellow high-yield toner cartridges built to replace Canon 046HC, 046HM and 046HY originals. Each cartridge is rated for approximately 5000 pages at five-percent coverage, making the set suited to small offices or home users who print colour documents regularly.

Replaces Canon 046 high-yield originals

The cartridges substitute the manufacturer’s high-yield 046 series and fit the Color ImageClass MF731Cdw, MF733Cdw, MF735Cdw and LBP654Cdw models. Switching is worthwhile when colour print volume justifies the higher page count per cartridge and a lower cost per page is desired over standard-yield alternatives.

Drop-in installation with chip recognition

Each unit ships with a pre-installed chip so the printer recognises it immediately; simply remove the seal, shake gently and slide the cartridge into the matching colour slot. The most common issue is forgetting to pull the protective tape completely, which can cause streaks or a “cartridge not recognised” message until the tape is removed.

Questions about this item

Which Canon printers accept the 046HC, 046HM and 046HY cartridges in this pack?

The cartridges fit the Color ImageCLASS MF731Cdw, MF733Cdw, MF735Cdw and LBP654Cdw models.

What is the correct order for installing the three colour cartridges?

Open the front cover, pull out each old cartridge, shake the new one gently, remove the seal, then slide it in until it clicks — skipping the shake step causes uneven toner distribution.

When will the 5000-page high-yield cartridges need replacing?

At 5 % coverage each cartridge yields about 5000 pages; the printer will alert you when toner runs low, and you simply swap the empty colour for a new one.
