What the product is and who it is for

This two-pack of black toner cartridges replaces Canon GPR-24 1872B003AA supplies. It fits Canon imageRUNNER 5050, 5050N, 5055, 5065 and 5075 devices. Offices that print high volumes of monochrome documents will get 48000 pages at five percent coverage. Buyers who need colour output or a different cartridge model should look elsewhere.

How it behaves under sustained load

Each cartridge is rated for 48000 pages at standard five percent coverage. Print density stays consistent across long runs without the fading that sometimes appears in short bursts. The toner formulation meets SMTC and ISO quality benchmarks for reliable output. Very high coverage jobs will reduce the actual page count below the rated figure.

How easy it is to install

The cartridges slot into the imageRUNNER machines without tools or firmware steps. A protective seal must be removed before insertion or the printer will not recognise the supply. Forcing the unit past the guide rails can damage the drum shutter. Shaking a new cartridge gently side-to-side helps distribute toner evenly.

Questions about this item

How much power does the GPR24 toner cartridge draw when the imageRUNNER 5050 runs all day?

Toner cartridges consume no electrical power themselves; the printer's fuser and engine determine the running wattage.

Which printer models must I already own for these two GPR24 cartridges to work?

They are compatible with Canon imageRUNNER 5050, 5050N, 5055, 5065 and 5075 devices.

Will the 48000 page yield still be accurate if I keep using an older imageRUNNER 5050N?

Yes, the 48000 page yield at 5 % coverage applies to every listed model including the 5050N.
