Questions about this item

Will the 6-cell 72Wh 61++ battery fit alongside the internal battery on my ThinkPad T480?

Yes, the 61++ extended battery is designed to work with the internal battery on T470, T480, T570, T580, P51S, P52S, A475, A485 and TP25 models, providing combined runtime.

How can I verify the 12.6V / 11.4V / 10.8V battery is charging correctly after installation?

The ThinkPad power manager will show the 61++ battery at 72Wh capacity and report charge cycles; a steady charge LED and normal boot confirm the protection circuits are active.

Does the box include a 01AV423 61 battery or only the 4X50M08812 61++ unit?

The package contains the 6-cell 72Wh 61++ battery only; the 48Wh 61 or 24Wh batteries are not included and must be purchased separately if required.
