TSUJ 5015 Turbine Cooling Fan

The TSUJ EF50151BX-1C02C-S99 is a 5015 form-factor turbine fan measuring 550 by 50 by 15 millimetres. It operates on 12 volts and draws 1.8 watts, delivering focused airflow for compact enclosures. The unit suits builders who need a slim blower for tight spaces such as small-form-factor PCs or embedded appliances.

Replacing axial fans in restricted layouts

This turbine design replaces conventional axial fans when clearance prevents a standard frame. The jump is worth it when the chassis demands a 15-millimetre thickness and directed exhaust through a narrow duct. It does not suit builds that require high static pressure across large heatsinks or silent operation at low RPM.

Questions about this item

What are the exact mounting dimensions for the 5015 turbine fan?

The fan housing measures 550 by 50 by 15 mm, so the mounting cut-out must match those three figures.

How do I wire the 12 V 1.8 W fan, and what mistake should I avoid?

Connect the two leads to a 12 V DC source observing polarity; reversing them will prevent the turbine from spinning.
