Tugermoola 2PCS 16FT 12V DC Power Extension Cord 5.5mm x 2.1mm

Two 16 ft 12 V DC extension cables

This pack contains two Tugermoola power extension cords, each 16 ft long and terminated with a 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm male-to-female barrel connector. They are rated for 12 V DC at up to 3 A and use pure copper conductors. The cables are UL listed and finished in black. They suit security cameras, routers, LED strips and similar 12 V devices.

Plug-in barrel connection, stackable for length

Installation is a simple push-fit of the 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm plugs into matching sockets on the device and power supply. No tools or soldering are required. Multiple cords can be joined end-to-end to reach greater distances. The main risk is a loose barrel fit on worn sockets, which can cause intermittent power. Ensure the polarity of the supply matches the device before connecting.

12 V DC barrel interface limited by voltage drop

The 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm barrel standard carries only low-voltage DC and is not suitable for mains voltage or higher-current loads beyond the 3 A rating. Over long runs the thin conductors will introduce voltage drop, potentially causing devices to malfunction or reset. The cords are indoor-rated only and lack outdoor weatherproofing on the connectors. They cannot carry data or negotiate power profiles.
