Single-socket SP5 board for AMD EPYC 9004 CPUs with eight DDR5 4800 slots, five PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, twelve SATA ports and dual MCIO NVMe connectors
The TYAN S8050GM2NE is a CEB form-factor motherboard built for one AMD EPYC 9004 series processor in a Socket SP5 package. It targets builders who need eight-channel DDR5 4800 memory and dense PCIe 5.0 expansion in a 12.0" x 10.5" layout. The board delivers up to 400W cTDP support for high-core-count Genoa, Bergamo or Genoa X CPUs.
Confirm your chassis can supply both 2x4 and 2x12 power connectors and that the CPU cooler mounting matches the SP5 socket pattern. Ensure the case accommodates the CEB dimensions and provides airflow for a processor rated up to 400W cTDP. Check that your memory kit uses 288-pin DDR5 modules and that any NVMe drives fit the 2280 or 22110 M.2 lengths.
The Aspeed AST2600 BMC handles IPMI over a dedicated 1000Base-T port without loading the main CPU. Eight DDR5 channels spread memory thermal load across the DIMM slots. Five PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and multiple MCIO connectors allow high-throughput NVMe or GPU configurations that will dictate overall system airflow and acoustic requirements.

The box contains the S8050 motherboard, a Quick Installation Guide, an I/O shield and two SATA signal cables. You must buy the AMD EPYC 9004 series processor, DDR5 4800 memory modules, storage drives and power supplies separately.
Populate all eight channels with DDR5 4800 RDIMMs or 3DS RDIMMs; the board supports up to 2TB total capacity across the eight slots in eight-channel mode.
The five full-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slots provide five x16 electrical links from the single EPYC 9004 CPU, allowing up to five double-width accelerators or GPUs to run at full Gen 5 bandwidth simultaneously.
