Dual-SP3 board with sixteen DDR4-3200 slots, three PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, sixteen SATA 6.0Gb/s ports and dual 10GbE LAN
The TYAN S8253GM4NE-2T is an Extended ATX motherboard built for dual AMD EPYC 7002 and 7003 series processors. It targets data-centre deployments that need high core counts and large memory capacity in a single node. Sixteen DDR4-3200 slots support up to 4 TB of ECC memory across eight channels. The board suits virtualisation clusters, database servers and compute-heavy workloads that benefit from twin CPUs.
Three full-length PCIe 4.0 x16 slots and one x8 slot provide expansion for GPUs, accelerators or networking cards. A further x32 slot is reserved for riser use, while two x8 SlimSAS connectors enable four NVMe drives. Sixteen SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports handle traditional storage arrays. The onboard Intel X550 delivers two 10 GbE ports and the Intel I210 adds two 1 GbE links plus a dedicated IPMI port. Bandwidth is finite; populating every slot and drive connector will share lanes.
The 12 by 13.4 inch EATX footprint requires a case with matching mounting holes and sufficient vertical space for tall heatsinks. Dual SP3 processors demand robust VRM cooling and a power supply with enough EPS connectors for both sockets. Verify that your memory kit is DDR4-3200 ECC RDIMM or LRDIMM; other generations will not fit. Confirm the riser card you intend to use matches the x32 slot pinout before ordering.

The board has sixteen 288-pin slots in an eight-channel design. Filling all slots lets you reach the 4 TB maximum with ECC RDIMMs, while half-population still gives full channel bandwidth per socket.
Two Intel X550 ports provide 10 GbE for storage or cluster links, while two Intel I210 ports handle standard 1 GbE traffic and a dedicated IPMI port keeps management separate.
Three full-length PCIe 4.0 x16 slots and one x8 slot connect directly to the CPUs. An additional PCIe 4.0 x32 riser connector and two x8 SlimSAS connectors support up to four NVMe drives without using the main slots.
