Network bullet camera for IP surveillance

The Tyco ADCI400-B041 is a network bullet camera built for IP-based CCTV systems. It captures video at a maximum resolution of 896 x 720 through a fixed 12 mm lens. Power over Ethernet (802.3 af PoE) supplies power and data over a single cable, simplifying installation for installers and system integrators.

Sustained operation with H.264 compression and IR

H.264 compression maintains bandwidth-friendly performance during continuous recording. Integrated IR illuminators reach up to 18 m (55 ft), allowing the sensor to operate in zero ambient light. The camera delivers colour images at 0.2 lux and monochrome at 0.01 lux, preserving detail through extended night-time monitoring sessions.

Weatherproof IP66 enclosure with hard-mount bend arm

An IP66-rated sleek enclosure protects the electronics from dust and heavy rain in permanent outdoor deployments. The supplied hard mounting bend arm provides a rigid fixing point for walls or soffits. Onboard storage and remote management features support long-term, unattended operation without additional housing.

Questions about this item

How much power does the ADCI400-B041 draw over its PoE connection during all-day operation?

The camera is powered by 802.3 af PoE, so a single Ethernet cable delivers both data and the power needed for continuous operation and the integrated IR illuminators.

Which recorder or storage device must I already own to save footage from this 896 x 720 camera?

It connects by cable to any NVR or VMS that accepts H.264 streams from a 0.7 megapixel network camera.

Will the 12 mm lens on this bullet camera cover the same viewing angle as the older analogue unit I want to keep?

The fixed 12 mm lens gives a narrower field of view than most legacy wide-angle analogue cameras, so the scene coverage will differ.
