Dual-output PoE injector

The TP-POE-HP-48Dx2 is a high-power Power over Ethernet injector designed for installers who need to supply two compatible devices from one AC source. It delivers dual 802.3af/at outputs with a combined 50 W budget, splitting 25 W per port for wireless access points or IP cameras.

Single AC feed two devices

A standard removable North American power cord connects the unit to 120 or 240 VAC mains, eliminating the need for a separate PoE switch. The injector handles the data path internally so each connected device receives both power and network connectivity through a single cable run.

Isolated surge-protected design

Input and output voltages are isolated to prevent grounding or negative voltage issues across the installation. Built-in protections cover short circuit, overload and ESD or lightning surges on all eight wires of each data and PoE line.

Questions about this item

What is the total power budget the injector can sustain across both ports?

The unit delivers 50 W total, split as 25 W per port, so the combined draw cannot exceed 50 W under sustained load.

How much heat or fan noise should I expect when it runs continuously?

The injector has no fan and relies on passive cooling; it stays cool during all-day operation with no audible noise.

Which cables and devices must I already have to make the injector work?

You need a standard AC power cord for 120/240 V input, two Ethernet cables, and two 802.3af/at PoE devices such as wireless APs or IP cameras.
