Ubiquiti 2K IP Camera with Pan and Tilt

This outdoor security camera delivers 2K video resolution and offers 355° pan with 90° tilt for wide-area coverage. It connects wirelessly over 2.4 GHz and features two-way audio with a built-in microphone and speaker. The IP66-rated housing is designed to withstand rain, shine, and storm conditions for continuous outdoor operation.

Installation Notes and Common Issues

The camera supports both wall and ceiling mounting and uses a standard US plug for 100–240V AC power. Wireless setup relies on a 2.4 GHz network with a data rate up to 54Mbps and WEP 64/128-bit security. Users should ensure the router broadcasts a compatible 2.4 GHz band, as 5 GHz networks are not supported and will prevent connection.

Ideal Users and Limitations

This model suits homeowners who want pan-tilt flexibility, colour night vision via four infrared and four floodlights, and optional cloud storage up to 30 days. It is not suited for buyers who need local recording without a memory card, as the 128GB microSD slot requires a separate card purchase. Builders requiring wired Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi should consider other options.
