Triple-Lens PTZ Camera

The Ubiquiti Networks CS621DR combines three cameras in a single weatherproof housing for comprehensive outdoor surveillance. A central motorised lens pans up to 270° horizontally and 90° vertically, while two side lenses adjust manually up to 180° each. Together they deliver a 360° field of view with 2K video resolution and no blind spots.

Upgrade from Fixed Single-Lens Units

This camera replaces static bullet or dome models that cover only a narrow angle and require multiple devices for full perimeter coverage. The jump is worth it when you need automated pan, tilt and zoom tracking of human movement across a wide area, plus colour night vision to 60 feet and two-way audio deterrence from one mounting point.

Wireless 2.4 GHz Band Constraints

The camera connects via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi at up to 54 Mbps using legacy WEP 64/128-bit encryption, which limits throughput and security compared to modern standards. Bandwidth is shared with other 2.4 GHz devices, so extended 2K streaming may encounter congestion. The unit draws 100–240 V AC power and supports only older Windows operating systems for direct configuration.

Questions about this item

How much clearance is required to mount the 14.33in W x 12.83in H x 9.06in D camera body?

The unit measures 14.33in wide, 12.83in high and 9.06in deep, so allow at least that footprint plus space for the side arms to swing 180° horizontally and vertically.

Which step do installers often miss when powering the camera from 100 ~ 240V AC mains?

Connect the supplied power adapter to the camera first, then plug into a 50/60 Hz outlet; skipping the adapter and wiring line voltage directly will damage the unit.

How often should the infrared and warm-light LEDs be checked to maintain 60 feet night vision range?

Inspect the LED lenses every few months for dirt, spider webs or condensation; clean gently with a soft cloth to preserve the 60 ft colour and IR night vision distance.
