24 V PoE Injector for Wall-Mounted Networks

This 24 V DC PoE injector powers compatible access points and bridges through a single Ethernet cable. It is built for installers and network operators who need a compact, wall-mountable power source for outdoor or indoor wireless links.

Device Protection with TOUGHCable Grounding

When paired with Ubiquiti TOUGHCable, the injector provides earth grounding and surge protection against electrostatic discharge events. This combination helps preserve connected radios and switches during storms or static buildup on outdoor cable runs.

White Wall-Mountable Housing for Fixed Installations

The white enclosure is designed for permanent mounting on walls or poles, keeping the power supply secure and cables tidy. Its fixed form factor suits deployments where the injector stays in one location rather than moving between sites.

Questions about this item

Will the surge protection still work if the TOUGHCable grounding wire corrodes?

The injector relies on Ubiquiti TOUGHCable for earth grounding and ESD surge protection; if the cable's grounding path degrades, that protection is reduced.

What limits continuous operation on the 24 V, 0.5 A output?

The 24 V DC, 0.5 A rating sets the maximum sustained power at 12 W; drawing more will trip the internal protection.

Does the wall-mounted unit get hot or make noise when powering a device all day?

No fan is present and the 12 W output produces minimal heat; the injector runs silently and stays cool to the touch.
