Carrier-class 3.5 GHz bridge

The PowerBridge M3 is a licensed-band wireless access point built for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint links. It uses a 2x2 MIMO panel antenna and the AirMax TDMA protocol to deliver carrier-grade throughput for ISPs and enterprise networks. The integrated radio and antenna simplify outdoor deployment.

150 Mbps real throughput with 20 km range

In typical line-of-sight conditions the link sustains 150+ Mbps of actual data throughput and can reach beyond 20 km. The 3.5 GHz licensed spectrum reduces interference, while 64 MB SDRAM and 8 MB flash provide headroom for routing tables and firmware. Capacity drops when obstacles or heavy rain attenuate the signal.

Single 10/100 Ethernet port and pole-mount enclosure

The unit connects to the network through one 10/100 BASE-TX RJ-45 port and is powered via passive PoE on the same cable. Its weatherproof enclosure measures 445 x 416 x 34 mm and weighs 3.82 kg, mounting directly on a mast without extra brackets. Management is handled centrally through AirControl for large-scale deployments.

Questions about this item

Will the single 10/100 Ethernet port limit throughput when I connect it to my existing 1 Gbps switch?

The 10/100 BASE-TX interface caps wired throughput at 100 Mbps, so a gigabit switch will negotiate down to that speed.

How do I verify the 150+ Mbps outdoor throughput is actually being delivered after installation?

Use the AirOS web interface or AirControl to monitor real-time link capacity, signal strength and packet error rates on the 3.5 GHz radio.

Does the package include the RJ-45 patch cable and PoE injector needed for the 10/100 Ethernet port?

The supplied kit contains the radio with integrated 2x2 MIMO panel antenna and mounting hardware; Ethernet cable and PoE injector are sold separately.
