Ubiquiti Networks S11 4G LTE Cellular Security Camera 1080P 360° PTZ Solar Powered 10000mAh Battery IP66

Ubiquiti S11 4G LTE Cellular Camera

The Ubiquiti Networks S11 is a wireless outdoor security camera that connects through 4G LTE networks instead of Wi-Fi. It is built for property owners who need monitoring at remote sites such as farms, construction areas or vacation homes where wired power and broadband are unavailable. The unit includes a built-in SIM with a 7-day data trial and rolling cloud storage for short event clips.

4G LTE connectivity limits and power autonomy

The camera operates only on 4G LTE signals and does not support Wi-Fi or Power over Ethernet, so a compatible cellular plan is mandatory after the trial period. A 10000mAh rechargeable battery pairs with a 5W solar panel to deliver up to three months of operation per charge, removing the need for mains wiring. Local recording is available on microSD cards up to 128GB for backup when cloud access is interrupted.

Upgrade from Wi-Fi cameras and wired installations

This model replaces Wi-Fi-dependent cameras that cannot reach distant buildings or temporary sites, and it removes the cost of trenching power cables for traditional wired systems. The jump is worthwhile when a reliable 4G signal exists but Wi-Fi coverage or electrical infrastructure does not. Buyers who need continuous 24/7 recording without solar downtime or who require multi-camera synchronisation over a local network should consider alternative architectures.
