2K IP camera for home monitoring

The Ubiquiti Networks S5A is a 2K resolution IP camera designed for indoor and outdoor home security. It connects wirelessly via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and requires a mains power connection. The IP65-rated housing protects against rain and dust for year-round placement.

Bundled siren and light deter intruders

A built-in white light and siren activate automatically when motion is detected, providing an immediate deterrent. Two-way audio allows communication through the companion app. Recordings can be stored on a microSD card up to 128 GB or via an optional cloud subscription.

Limited to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and legacy OS support

The camera only joins 2.4 GHz networks and will not connect to 5 GHz bands. Wireless data rate is capped at 54 Mbps. The listed software supports Windows 98 through XP, so modern operating systems may require alternative viewing methods.
