Ubiquiti 1080P Wireless Mini Camera

This compact IP camera delivers 1080p video over a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi link and includes a magnetic back cover for tool-free mounting on any ferrous surface. A built-in 240 mAh battery keeps it running for 45 minutes if mains power fails. It is aimed at homeowners and small-business users who want a discreet indoor or outdoor monitor that can be repositioned in seconds.

Upgrade from basic plug-in cams

Unlike fixed cameras that need a nearby socket and screw-in bracket, this unit adds wireless freedom and magnetic mounting so you can move it between rooms, a vehicle or a backpack. The jump is worth it when you need temporary coverage outdoors, a quick baby or pet check, or a travel-friendly device that still supports ONVIF for local recording.

128 GB microSD headroom and battery limits

A microSD card up to 128 GB stores weeks of 1080p footage before overwriting, while the 240 mAh cell only bridges short outages — 45 minutes in ultra-HD mode — and recharges in 30 minutes via Micro USB. Continuous 24/7 recording demands permanent USB power; the internal battery cannot sustain all-day operation.
