20-pack TOUGHCable connectors

The Ubiquiti Networks TC-GND-20PK supplies twenty TOUGHCable connectors in a single pack. They are designed for terminating shielded outdoor Ethernet cable on site. Installers and network builders can carry one pack to handle multiple drops.

Suited for field termination of shielded cable

This pack suits technicians who crimp their own lengths of Ubiquiti TOUGHCable for long outdoor runs. It is not for buyers who need pre-made patch cords, indoor-only connectors, or a smaller quantity than twenty pieces.

Verify cable type and crimp tool before ordering

Confirm that the cable you are using matches the shielded TOUGHCable specification these connectors are built for. Also ensure you have the correct crimp tool for this connector style so terminations meet performance requirements.

Questions about this item

What type of cable is required to use these TC-GND connectors?

They are designed for use with Ubiquiti TOUGHCable shielded outdoor cable.

Will these connectors fit standard Cat5e or Cat6 patch cables I already have?

No, they are sized for the thicker jacket and shield drain wire of TOUGHCable, not standard indoor patch cords.

How can I verify a proper crimp on each connector after termination?

Inspect the clear housing to confirm all 8 wires are fully seated and the shield drain wire is captured by the grounding tab.
