Gigabit Ethernet and PoE limits

The Door Hub Mini provides three RJ-45 ports, two of which deliver PoE, and accepts 12, 30, 48 and 50 V DC input. Gigabit Ethernet caps wired throughput at 1 Gbps, while the two PoE ports restrict powered devices to that pair of connections. Wireless communication uses Bluetooth and NFC only, so there is no Wi-Fi backhaul or mesh capability.

Single-door capacity and environmental headroom

The kit comfortably handles one entry point with one reader and two keyfobs; adding further doors would require additional hubs and readers not included here. The hub and reader enclosures combine polycarbonate with metal or glass, while the keyfobs meet IP55 and IP54 ratings for dust and water resistance. Operating humidity is rated up to 90 per cent non-condensing.
