Two compact dual-band Wave 2 enterprise access points with 4x4 MIMO and 802.3 af PoE, plus two 48 V 24 W PoE adapters included
The Ubiquiti Networks UAP-nanoHD-US 2-Pack delivers two enterprise-grade Wave 2 access points with 4x4 MU-MIMO capability. Each unit supports simultaneous dual-band operation for high-density environments. Included PoE adapters provide 802.3 af compliant power over a single Gigabit Ethernet port. Optional skins allow discreet installation in offices, retail spaces, or hospitality venues.
Passive cooling keeps the access points silent during continuous operation. Each PoE adapter supplies up to 24 W at 48 V with built-in surge protection and clamping. The 802.3 af PoE compliance ensures efficient power delivery over existing network cabling. No external power bricks or fan noise are introduced into the deployment area.
This kit replaces standalone consumer access points that lack MU-MIMO or centralized management. The jump is worth it when deploying multiple units across ceilings or walls where PoE simplifies cabling. Buyers who need outdoor-rated hardware or 802.11 ax support should consider other product lines. The compact form factor suits retrofits where larger enterprise APs cannot fit.

Mount each nanoHD on a wall or ceiling using the included kits; the common error is forgetting to plug the Ethernet cable into the 802.3 af PoE-compliant port so the AP receives both power and data from the supplied POE-48-24W-G adapter.
The POE-48-24W-G adapters are the most likely components to require replacement, as they handle surge protection and clamping for the 48 V supply and can degrade after repeated transient events.
The 24 W output ceiling of each POE-48-24W-G adapter caps the total power available to the access point, so sustained 4x4 MU-MIMO operation will hit that limit before thermal throttling becomes a factor.
