Multi-function security device

Suited for discreet indoor monitoring

This camera suits homeowners or office managers who want covert surveillance with a built-in charging function. It supports Windows 98, Me, 2000 and XP for local setup. Buyers who need modern OS support, wired Ethernet connectivity or outdoor weatherproofing should look at something else.

Sustained operation characteristics

Loop recording continuously overwrites older footage so the device can run 24/7 without manual intervention. Motion detection sends instant alerts to a smartphone app during extended use. Dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz compatibility helps maintain a stable wireless link during long recording sessions.

Questions about this item

What type of Wi-Fi router must I already have for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band camera to connect?

The camera connects to any router broadcasting a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi network using WEP 64/128-bit security, so your existing dual-band router will work.

Can I keep my older Windows 2000 or XP machine on the same network while the camera streams 1080P video at up to 54 Mbps?

Yes, the camera supports Win 98/Me/2000/XP and its 54 Mbps wireless rate leaves plenty of bandwidth for legacy PCs on the same 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz network.

How do I verify the 250° rotating lens is recording in 1080P after I mount the 14.33 in wide unit?

Open the companion app, start a live view, and confirm the feed shows 1080P resolution across the full 250° field; loop recording will then overwrite the oldest clips automatically.
