Compact wireless camera for home monitoring

The Ubiquiti Networks Yoidesu762idymwkg is a lightweight IP camera weighing 58 grams with a 90-degree wide-angle lens. It connects via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi at up to 54Mbps and carries an IP65 rating for humidity resistance. The magnetic bracket allows quick attachment to iron surfaces.

Simple magnetic mounting with legacy software needs

Installation relies on the built-in magnet for tool-free placement on any iron surface and supports 360-degree manual rotation. Power comes from a charging connection that permits recording while charging. Configuration requires a Windows 98, Me, 2000 or XP system, which may limit setup on modern computers.

Suits renters wanting portable indoor coverage

This camera fits users who need a small, movable device for local recording on a microSD card up to 64GB with automatic overwrite. It is not suited for buyers who require modern mobile app integration, WPA2 or WPA3 encryption, Power over Ethernet, or outdoor mounting hardware beyond the magnetic base.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 90-degree wide-angle view is active after mounting the camera?

Open the mobile app live feed and confirm the horizontal field spans the full 90-degree angle; the image should show a broad room perspective without fisheye distortion.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately for recording?

The package includes the 58-gram camera with integrated magnet bracket; a microSD card up to 64 GB for 24/7 local storage is not included and must be bought separately.

Which wireless specification should I match on my router for a stable connection?

Connect the camera to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network using WEP 64-bit or 128-bit security; the link rate is capped at 54 Mbps, so ensure the router supports that legacy mode.
