Four-Pack USB-C to USB-A Adapters

This four-pack supplies four identical USB-C male to USB-A female converters rated for 10 Gbps data transfer. Each adapter has an aluminium alloy housing and metal connectors tested to withstand more than 10,000 insertion cycles. The space-grey finish matches modern laptops and the thumb-sized form factor fits side-by-side on tightly spaced ports.

Upgrade From 480 Mbps Dongles

Replacing older USB 2.0 adapters that top out at 480 Mbps cuts large-file transfer times dramatically when moving data between flash drives, card readers or external hard disks and USB-C host devices. The jump is worth it whenever you routinely shift multi-gigabyte media or backups and need the full 10 Gbps throughput the specification provides.

Build-Around Requirements

Each unit needs a host with a USB-C port that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds to deliver the rated bandwidth; older USB-C ports will fall back to lower rates. The slim profile clears adjacent ports on MacBook Pro models from 2016 onward, MacBook Air from 2018 onward, iPad Pro and recent iPhone and Samsung Galaxy handsets, even with cases up to 2 mm thick. No driver installation is required — simply plug in and the adapter is ready for keyboards, mice, storage or any USB-A peripheral.

Questions about this item

How much space does the 25.65 in × 15.0 in × 7.6 in four-pack need on a shelf?

The retail box measures 25.65 in long, 15.0 in wide and 7.6 in high, so allow roughly that footprint plus a little clearance for lifting the lid.

What is the correct way to insert the adapter so the logo faces up and the connector seats without force?

Clean the port, hold the adapter with the logo visible on top, align the USB-C male plug with the host port and push straight in until it clicks; do not angle or force it.

After roughly 10,000 insertion cycles what wear should I expect on the aluminum housing and metal connector?

The housing and connector are rated for 10,000 plug/unplug cycles; beyond that the spring contacts may loosen, so replace the adapter if connections become intermittent.
