Five-port 8K switch for multi-device setups

The Ugreen CM693 connects five HDMI sources such as a PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, streaming stick or laptop to a single display input. It eliminates the need to swap cables when changing between gaming, movies or work sessions. A supplied infrared remote and front-panel button both change the active port. The aluminium chassis measures 16.5 in by 5.6 in by 2.1 in and weighs 0.44 kilograms.

Sustained 40 Gbps bandwidth for 8K 60 Hz

The switch maintains the full HDMI 2.1 40 Gbps link during extended gaming or video playback, delivering 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 240 Hz or 1080p at 240 Hz without compression. VRR pass-through keeps frame pacing smooth on compatible consoles. To preserve signal integrity at the highest rate, input cables should stay within 1 m and the output cable within 2 m.

Passive cooling with external power adapter

The unit draws power from an included adapter, so no USB port on the display is required. Its aluminium body dissipates heat silently without fans during typical living-room use. HDCP 2.3 and CEC signals pass through unchanged, allowing protected 4K HDR10+ content and single-remote volume control to function normally.

Questions about this item

Does the Ugreen CM693 5-in-1 HDMI switch generate noticeable heat or fan noise when running all day?

The unit is passively cooled in an aluminium chassis and draws power from the included adapter, so it runs silently with no fan and only warm-to-the-touch temperatures during continuous use.

What cables or adapters must I already own to connect five sources and one display to this switch?

You need five HDMI cables for the inputs and one HDMI cable for the output; keep each input cable under 1 m and the output cable under 2 m to maintain 8K 60 Hz performance.

Will my older 4K 60 Hz monitor and 1080p 240 Hz gaming screen work correctly through this HDMI 2.1 switch?

Yes, the switch is backward compatible with 4K 60 Hz and 1080p 240 Hz signals, and it supports HDMI 2.0, 1.4, HDCP 2.3 and CEC so legacy devices handshake normally.
