What the speaker is and who it fits

The Ultimate Ears Boom 3 is a compact Bluetooth speaker finished in Night Black. It plays audio from any phone or tablet that supports the A2DP profile or a 3.5 mm jack, so casual listeners and outdoor enthusiasts get a grab-and-go sound source without pairing hassle. Buyers who need multi-room synchronisation or voice-assistant integration will not find those features here.

Capacity and headroom

Two 2-inch drivers and matching passive radiators deliver a frequency range of 90 Hz to 20 kHz at a maximum output of 90 dBA. The battery provides up to 15 hours of playback, and the IP67 rating means the speaker survives full submersion for 30 minutes while floating. At 150 ft wireless range the signal holds across a typical garden, but larger venues will exceed its comfortable coverage.

What the bundled extras change

A dedicated Magic Button on top handles play, pause and track skip so the phone can stay in a pocket. The two-tone performance fabric resists abrasion from sand, dust and repeated drops tested over 25 durability cycles. Up to eight source devices can be remembered and two kept connected simultaneously, letting friends swap tracks without re-pairing.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.5 mm input let me keep using my older MP3 player with this speaker?

Yes, the speaker includes a 3.5 mm audio input for wired playback from devices that do not support Bluetooth.

How can I confirm the IP67 rating is holding up after a few weeks outdoors?

The speaker should still float and show no water ingress after a 30‑minute submersion test; buttons and fabric must remain fully functional.

Does the box include a wall charger or only the USB cable?

The package contains the speaker and a micro‑USB charging cable; a USB power adapter is not included and must be purchased separately.
