Ultratech 8010 Pop-Up Pool Plus

The Ultratech 8010 Pop-Up Pool Plus is a collapsible containment pool designed for temporary secondary containment. It holds up to 20 gal of liquid from equipment, drums, tanks, or vehicles. The rectangular pool uses 10 mil polyethylene construction with foldable polyethylene sidewalls. It is referenced for NPDES, SPCC, and EPA 40 CFR 263.30 compliance needs.

Setup and Storage

Deployment requires unfolding the unit from its collapsed state of 4 in L x 18 in W x 4 in H. The foldable sidewalls collapse flat for compact storage when not in use. The 10 mil polyethylene material resists punctures during placement under leaking sources. No tools or inflation are required for the sidewalls to function.

Pre-Order Checks

Verify the 58 in L x 18 in W x 5 in H filled footprint fits your designated containment area. Confirm the 20 gal spill capacity matches the maximum potential discharge volume of your equipment. Note the California Proposition 65 warning regarding chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm. Ensure yellow rectangular visibility suits your site safety marking requirements.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the Ultratech 8010 pool is holding liquid correctly after deployment?

Unfold the pool so the 10 mil polyethylene walls stand upright; once positioned under the leak source, visible liquid collecting inside the 58 by 18 inch basin up to the 20 gallon mark shows it is working.

What components come with the Ultratech 8010 and what must I supply?

The package contains the collapsible 10 mil polyethylene pool with foldable sidewalls; no separate liner, pump, or anchoring hardware is included.

Which capacity version of the Ultra series Plus model should I choose for a 20 gallon spill risk?

The 8010 model is rated for exactly 20 gallons; select this version when your secondary containment plan calls for that specific spill capacity.
