Ultratech 8642 Berm Builder Corner Connector

The Ultratech 8642 is a vinyl corner connector measuring 18 inches in length, 12 inches in width and 2 inches in height. It is designed to join berm sections at right angles for spill containment and worksite safety applications. The bright yellow colour ensures high visibility on site. This product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for cancer and reproductive harm.

Suited for facility safety managers

It suits personnel building custom berm perimeters who need a reliable corner joint. Buyers requiring straight wall sections, different profile heights or connectors for rigid wall systems should look at alternative products. The vinyl construction is specific to flexible berm configurations.

Vinyl corner connector with 18 by 12 inch footprint

The single specification that determines fit is the 18 inch by 12 inch by 2 inch vinyl profile. This exact geometry must match the adjoining berm sections to create a continuous containment barrier. Verify these dimensions against your existing berm components before ordering.

Questions about this item

How does the 2 in. height limit water containment during sustained overflow?

The 2 in. height caps the maximum water depth the corner can hold before it overtops, so prolonged heavy flow will spill once that level is reached.

Does the vinyl corner soften or off-gas when left in direct sun all day?

Vinyl can become more pliable and may release odours under continuous high heat, so expect some softening and smell during full-day sun exposure.

What existing Berm Builder straight sections are required to connect to this 18 in. x 12 in. corner?

You need compatible Ultratech Berm Builder straight sections that match the 18 in. and 12 in. side lengths to join this corner into a continuous barrier.
