Solar LED landscape lights, two pack

The UMEXUS set includes two solar-powered LED landscape lights designed for outdoor areas such as gardens, driveways, patios and pathways. Each unit integrates a PIR motion sensor that activates illumination when movement is detected. The lights are rated IP67 for waterproof performance in exposed locations. They suit homeowners wanting wire-free security and accent lighting.

Thermals, noise and power draw

The fixtures run silently with no moving parts and produce negligible heat during normal operation. A 5.5V 2.5W solar panel charges the internal 3.7V 1200mAh lithium battery in six to eight hours of daylight. The ABS housing remains cool to the touch while the 72 COB LEDs deliver 360° coverage. No external wiring or mains power is required.

Sustained load behaviour

After a full charge the lights operate for six to twelve hours depending on the selected mode. The PIR sensor triggers a twenty-second illumination period each time motion is sensed within its 120° detection zone. Three selectable modes let users balance brightness against runtime for consistent overnight performance. The adjustable bracket allows optimal panel orientation for reliable daily recharging.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 84 by 227 millimetre light and adjust the bracket so the PIR sensor covers the 120 degree detection zone?

Fix the unit to a wall or pole with the supplied bracket, then tilt it until the sensor faces the target area; the 120 degree detection angle works best when the sensor points slightly downward across the path.

Which component will need replacement first and how often?

The 3.7 volt 1200 milliampere hour lithium battery typically lasts two to three years before its capacity drops enough to shorten the 6 to 12 hour night runtime.

What limits continuous operation after several cloudy days?

The 5.5 volt 2.5 watt solar panel needs 6 to 8 hours of direct sun to fully recharge the battery; extended overcast weather will reduce the 6 to 12 hour working time.
